Mc was summoned 25 years ago, and apparently was weaker than Willie 8 years ago when he became the enemy of the world.

Idk, but it was heavily implied that he has a wife, daughter, or both~

 

I was merely guessing, hence the question marks.


On another note, it seems that Sungchul isn't a calamity yet but simply a threat...so if he defeats Marakia does he become one?

 

Nice revealing chapter. 600 is transcendence... MC is crazy strong all over. I hope we get to see more weapons being used from him as time goes on.

 

Those green gems seem a bit too convenient to be just hanging around for Sungchul to make potions out of.

 

I think it's based on potential and will. Sungchul has the potential, but doesn't want to destroy the world so he his destiny isn't of a calamity. Bird man was strong and would have went along to destroy humanity just because his race is superior or some shit like that and humans have become top of the food chain and arrogant. Like seriously, he became enraged because Willie killed a chicken. He protects a chicken. His great race has become poultry for their own shitty slaves and he is still all high and mighty about their superiority to humans. All it would take is a human to say "dafuq are you lookin' at, birdface" and he'll start a genocide.

 

I still think it's more likely the chick who he gave the assassin's inheritance to was a calamity who was stopped by MC and went back in time to fix her mistakes, than mc actually being a calamity. If there was a reason for MC to become a calamity it would be due to his wife or daughter.

 

That king monster went in mad mode because his chicken was killed , i laughed so hard at this part ...

It a curse, not a disease. And he has plenty of nasty curses in him, that one would be kinda low on his to-do list.

 

Pretty sure curses can also be 'cured' , anyway i remember when he just met her that she mentioned she knows a recipe for it.
Not to mention that hero trial that was going to give him an Elixir to cure it but joked around with him that pissed him off, pretty sure it's not something he 'doesn't care for all that much.'

That's very unlikely. To pin a baseless accusation, for Sungchul to be the actual calamity in the case that she's believed to be the real calamity, her character, or more like her personality sketch, is too forced. Why would he have to blatantly spew such lie in front of a man who wouldn't be benefited from in the case that he gains knowledge of a certain 'Sungchul' being a calamity in the future. Are you implying that she had seen through Sungchul's real identity and, for some unknown goal, was trying to deceive him? For her to act normally like a casual reincarnate while actually having known everything, she should've been the greatest cunning pretender of all times.

 

Well considering that she went through the same summoning ritual in her past life, saw sungchul kim in her summoning class, later went on and fought against him in some final battle type scenario (supposedly) it's really strange she doesn't know that he's the enemy of the world. Am I the only one who thinks that's strange?

 

I wonder exactly what he's carrying in his body? Maybe something having to do with his daughters resurrection, or something this God proposed to keep her alive?

Or maybe Sungchul is turning into a lovecraftian monster? I'm starting to get the feeling maybe the returnee wasn't lying about him.
