Like mutual trust between yatori and ikta in alderamin. well for this one I don't mind of it develop into love story... as long it's interesting. Just in case: no xianxia.

A RRL fiction but try Winter's Tale, pretty good story, love the casual way the relationship is presented (ship them so hard).

That kinda make me thought of Othinus and Touma from to aru majutsu no index. They start out as enemy but later become the only person who truly understand one another. Othinus only start appearing after almost 30 volume and that happened after 30 something volume into the series though. Othinus also kinda have less role after the arc. Damn, and I ship them so hard.

Well, can't think of any decent relationship that meet your criteria apart from that.

I seem to recall Anti Magic Academy having something like this, but it was taken down from Krytyk's site, you may be able to rustle up some epubs or pdfs elsewhere on the internet though. All of the novels on his site tend to have heavy bro-con/sis-con so they might match what you're looking for?

If you're looking for battle harem novels, you could plow through Arifureta (~100 ch TL), High School DxD (18 volumes?) and Tate no Yuusha (~350 ch, completed).
If you're looking for a yandere battle harem novel with torture and other oddities, you could try Kuro no Maou (~250 ch). Lots of people hate that one. To Deprive a Deprived Person also falls in this category (~130 ch)
If you want a food adventure with a battle harem in the background, you could go through Death March (WN) (350+? not sure). Tsuki Ga Michibukai (~95 ch) is also kind of like this, but a lot slower.
I'd also recommend Log Horizon (7 volumes on Skythewood), but that's a bit of a stretch for what you're asking for.
If you want a love relationship between a spider and Identify-sama, you could read Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?
