Discussion TKA = a potential BL material?

Well without romance it is kinda hard for there to be BL since it is a form of romance.

Speaking of TKA, seems like someone went and changed it's cover image to one from another novel.

 

I wouldn't describe that as potential, cuz most fan fictions about it are BL right now in China. The weirdest couple I have ever seen is Yexiu and his umbrella, I mean, yeah it could work if you think about the shape of an umbrella, but it's just way beyond my imagination.

 

There are already tons of BL fanfics about TKA......all my fujoshi friends are crazy about TKA, and a lot of them read the novel because of the BL potential.....so....the potential is already (partially) fulfilled in China....

 

Honestly, I never really thought about it. Most of the translated material are mostly in-game, and there is little interaction between the guys irl. But now that you mention it, I'm craving some Ye Xiu x Huang Shaitian rn.

I want the anime to get popular already so I can read shit on ao3 lol

 

Well i guess you can go write a fanfic of it <.< bury and list it right if you post it to Fanfiction.net
i dont think it is... BL material but you can fantasize in anyway you want...its the internet

Heeh. I'm a fujoshi and I never saw the potential. Somehow the idea of bl in this novel didn't even emerge in my head. Maybe I'm getting lazy but I prefer it when the hints are majorly in my face, or if it's a bl originally. What I mean by 'in your face fujo bait' is something like Seoul's Necromancer - certain chapters with the MC and his first follower (my memory is fuzzy tho, can't really remember if he was really the first follower). I think I need a trigger to get me old imagination going. Like the accidental kiss between Sasuke and Naruto at the start, or a random yaoi doujinshi on Superman/Batman. Or how Akira chased Hikaru around in Hikaru no Go.

 

If you can read Chinese then you can search for TKA fanfics, there are plenty of them. I have never read TKA novel but as a fujoshi that uses Chinese social networking website I inevitably read many hardcore TKA BL fanfics......

 

Any novel/manga/anime has BL potential as long as there are at least 2 guys in them and the crazy fujoshi are around lol~

 

So I just tot back from the novel's ao3 page, and its all in chinese. And the most popular pairing is Zhou Zekai/Ye Xiu which I'm confused about? Do they have a lot of interaction in the later chapters?

 

I haven't read the novel, but Zhou is supposed to be the most good looking man in the novel right? And Ye is the MC. That's enough for fujoshis to ship them together I think. In Grave Robbers Chronicles fandom people started shipping two characters together before they even met each other in the novel...which was really annoying

Anything with 2 males in it that do not look like dead dogs or mules is potential BL material (even those two might be based on how nutty the creator is). I think the Bert and Ernie thing kinda made this obvious...

I read so many TKA yaoi smuts recently and OMG.....they are GOOD
Even though I ship the less popular pairings(all x Wang Jiexi) there are still plenty to read....
