    it seems a bit one sided for QI to get a "fake news" post for each release so why hasn't a mega "fake news release " post been made for QI and it's badly released slave labor releases

    Even if you say fake news, all I'm seeing are two threads announcing new projects, which seems like legit news to me.

    One from today, and one of which was actually posted two days ago. .. The last thread made before that was on the 31st, two entire weeks ago. That's hardly spam. .. Look.. I get it, man. You hate @Qidian. But at least be a little realistic with the demands towards mods.

    There's literally no point in this.

    ok maybe i should have put it as "over hyped news" or something along those lines , but to me over hyped news is fake news as their are more important things happening in the RL ,
    but i understand your point ,
    also i've been off line due to RL health problems so haven't been reading the post's as such which is the reason to the delay with my posting

    Aha, but there is plenty an arguement to be made to have seperate posts for seperate announcements / different novels. It helps organize things and keep posts and questions on the relevant thread instead of a jumbled mess of everything.

    If I'm searching for info I'd like to see Bob, not bob,bobby,jack, charlie and randomface.

    As for overhyping, well you are screwed on that since for better or worse that is just the standard modus operandi nowadays

    Well if you only have two options to a pretty badly formulated poll + answers they pick the 'next best thing that kinda fits' doesn't really validate the sentiment.

    no , all news is important even if i don't agree with it , but thats why i said maybe change it to over hyped news in my last post but i do think that a company that uses slave contacts inc making someone who signs a contact have a no free choice to saying bad towards them or can be sued if they say anything they don't like
    a parent company that's used fabricated reports in court case's against others
    is very capable in using posts to create fake news / hyped news

    They should just make a LCD for the novel in question, instead of just randomly post it on the forum....

    Not 'fake' news per se. They're actually picking up new series.

    However, the trend of each series getting its thread will be problematic if it continues to the future when QI releases more.
    As with most news digest, it would be preferable for them to do 'weekly updates' or 'monthly updates'.

    Or just make it into LCD threads, so as to minimize redundancy while still doing what it does.
    If people start talking about the novels individually, instead of the publishing/batch, then it'd fit more into LCD threads anyways, right?

    Though, again, it's not yet a problem. It may never be a problem. It's just something some may perceive to be a potential problem... It's also not a particularly big problem unless QI starts picking up 10 series per day and floods the forums. So is there a need to criticize them for something they haven't done?

    I could try explaining that it's totally OKAY to have a thread announcing a new translation in the Novel General section of the forums, and that other translation groups and even random fans have done just so all the flippin' time. I could also try explaining that the [News] prefix is just a title prefix literally anyone can use to draw attention to anything they consider [News], and that it's hardly something significant. I could try to reiterate that Qidian has only made a couple of threads and that they're obviously not spam. I could even say they're more legitimate than half the crap that passes for a legitimate thread. I could also, while I'm at it, point out that the only thing that keeps these threads on the front page is that people keep posting in them, instead of other threads. I could say that if any of you actually cared that much, it'd take you literally 20 posts to get them off the first page. Which would probably make more sense than ranting about fake news spam.

    But saying any of that would be pointless, because this is basically just "I hate Qidian."

    So can we not interrupt me watching Person of Interest on Netflix for this? Thanks! :)

    You mean there's more than a few people that hate Qidian? :eek:

    Here I thought it was just one or two...

    i'd happily add a 3rd choice but at the sec due to the painkillers i'm taking my mind is a bit wasted so i couldn't think of one , but if you have a idea please say :)
