Pull the trigger and you'll be dead Bang bang Out the door We'll never see you forever more ...........hmm regret is the last thing anyone wants to feel on their wedding day. Or you could just write a literal meaning of the theme with no usage of exaggeration or metaphors in the poems. Or you could do what Fab has done and just post a poem here :3 Too many times have we heard those words Too many times it has been used They may think it is unheard But that is hardly true Behind those smirks and knowing gaze Trading laughter behind closed doors "She didn't get my meaning" He said "When I told her she didn't have enough, Clothes and makeup to last her a month"
Wedding against your will should and the RED TEARS blossoms due to that .. The flower would be green if I am not wrong...
I am in search of a white flower.... .... It is a flower that never withers ...... *Longing face* >.> I am quite sure there is no such rain to make a white flower blossoms.... But ..... You can guess my thoughts....
Dun worry... >.> And No thx >.> Why guess wrgly >.> what ever >.> This is going to the wrg direction >.>
Title: Wander Theme: "Distance". Thundering clouds asunder Breaking down honor High tide looking fonder By the low ride of wonder I start to wander
If just this mean.. the poem barely aligned with the theme... Why dun he just make the theme weather >.>
In your opinion it wasn't aligning but I guess that's just it. Different people see poems differently. By analysing someone elses poem, you can then find hidden meanings behind the words. All may not be the same but that's just poetry ^_^; Personally I think Udons poem is fine~ All are welcome to post and challenge themselves with the theme after all. Also I didn't say it before but please refrain from double posting in this thread. It's fine if you're doing poems for the themes but if it is just comments, one post would be enough (with multiple quotes in it, or you could just edit your old post.) everyone would still see your comment either way. I just don't want to clutter the thread when there are themes active. Of you have more questions for the person who posted the poem, you can always comment on their profile or even pm them. ^_^
As far as I can see Undo's poem is completely into the theme. Remembering that the "themes" can be explored in anyway the writer want, and many times we use the theme in a figurative way. besides who do you think you are to go around saying "s it not finished or is just this ? >_> Plz finish ur poem no matter is bad or good...." Poem isn't about size, and it isn't up to you to judge if his poem is good or bad. Have respect for others, and think before going around posting things like "plz finish your poem" cause as far as I can see you are acting like a asshole.
Theme: Freedom Spoiler: Fabulist Dilemma Fabulist Dilemma To tell tales is a sort of freedom for worlds are made with infinite shades as quickly as you can name them But for all those that tasted this ecstasy they would know of the writer's nemeses for the writer's craft is not without poisons as I too am trapped in one such prison. Even in the light of day I feel the dark of night for I am in a cage with writer's blight To be locked in one mindset as white is white as white I feel not my lust for flight for I am trapped by gravity's might. I sought draughts and cure but none broadened my humour I sought out light mild tales but my thoughts are like hard nails. What my hands wish to weave are tales like summer breeze but the words expelled from these fingers are grim yarns of death and danger. Where art thou my temperate slice of life Where art thou those lives without strife With this pen there are nought I cannot make even worlds full of honey and cakes but even so my creations are full of conflict bound by my love for high stake dramatics…
wow you brought out the nuances and pain of a writer real well.. but how does this connect with the theme freedom? I can't see the connect. PS: you used some good vocabulary there... words that aren't in common use.
Hmm... I suppose... I was playing with the opposite of freedom as well as kinda juxtapositioning(?) it I guess or kinda paring how writing is both freedom and entrapment. On the one hand yes, you can write create whatever you want. On the other, to write something or to truly tell a story close to your heart... I find myself tied down to writing only stories that would speak to me as a person... Dramas of life, things not working out, the pleasure of solving problems not because of being better, but being less conventional. Being less "chosen" As this is how I think, or I think... I think but what I want to read are things that workout, because it's simple, not stupid, but traditional and straight forward... in simpler words... I desire the gentle tale of Starwars, with simple beats and a tight single thread monomyth but my mind is entranced in the intrigue and tragedies and splits with complications after complications... much like Game of Thrones.
Theme: Forgotten I started to seeing something in my mind blurred people standing in front on me familiar feeling roused deep into my mind I don't know each one of them. I feel that I was fall behind by time those familiar faces started talking to me the feeling being lost in a crossroad not knowing which way to go. It is worthy to remember them? That question in my mind was being rip apart tears starting to falling down I know that they are part of me that worth remembering. Edit: I'm just new in writing a poem
