Is this an accurate desciption of the meaning of the term采补 ?

Caibu (采补) can be translated as “Plucking to Nurture”. The idea was that a person could greatly increase their cultivation by plundering the vital energies of their partner during sex. A male doing this to his female partner (as was usually the case) was said to be “Plucking Yin to Nurture Yang” (采阴补阳). It added a connotation of rape to dual cultivation, since it was victimizing and especially since young girls were seen as prime targets to “plunder”.

Apparently the Yin is the virgin seed in the female so when they have sex, the entire "seed" gets transferred to the male to supplement the Yang that is already present in him. Now that he has both Yin-Yang, he can do his cultivation shenanigans.

... okay.. if dual cultivation is like intercourse then Caibu like like forced intercourse... In the first both benefit, in the second only the aggressor benefits. The mechanism involves stealing the other party's yin or yang for yourself. Women steal yang from men and Men steal yin from women.
