From what I've heard o the plot, either would work. I personally prefer something related to a devil but hey, both work fine
sounds like a decent name (although i have not read the novel) i think the new name would appeal to new readers who haven't really read many CN's before so it's fine.
Great... now Qidian is messing with something they shouldn't. Hopefully they will get something nice from losing an arm and a leg... maybe better translations?
Actually the Title of Qiu Mo (求魔) is more accurately translated as [Seeking the Way of Demons] in opposition to Qiu Dao (求道) [Seeking the Dao].
Its absolutely ridiculous. It's feels like taking Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and callimg it That One Kid and a Special Rock.
Or taking Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and calling it Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
The title "Bessech the Devil" probably wouldn't sell as well to religious folk, so qidian went with a more "generic" title
That's just the US version's name :/ I think I had read about it somewhere before but JK.Rowling had to change the name for some reasons(she was really reluctant about though)
It says it right on Qidian's website 15 chapters a week. I read a few chapters and it's as good as piggy bottle's translation.
