    I believe that yes, you are in the wrong, and that yes people will understand that with time and move on once this comes to a legal end, and i don't see a way out for it that helps you, granted my phrasing was poor i was also speaking as reader and part of the community.

    If you believe that you are right, why haven't you already put this in court or waited for a verdict to occur. By doing what you guys did, you are showing you are in the wrong. an upright moral business would go to court and wait for a verdict before doing what you guys did. don't try to put excuses for yourselves and mud sling.
