QIDIAN ad-wall, seriously? === Mega-merge ====

No, i mean, my bro is hooked onto a certain novel from qidian.

 

The ad wall is just for extra chapters that are not yet posted on nu so you can read ahead 2 chapters (for a measly 15 sec of your life or how long it takes to press on skip)so now go away with this shit misleading thread please .

 

i realised Qidian is hiding latest novels chapter , wanting us to download the Qidian app as the app is 1-2 chapters ahead of the website's

 

Those seem to be bonus chapters posted ahead of the schedule.
I read a few on my desktop and I had to watch some ad before I could access it.

 

If you guys hate Qidian that much, just rip-off the content from Qidian's site through bots. This way you generate fake traffic and their ad partners will penalize them for it, and the load on Qidian's servers will increase, making them pay more for their hosting. Also, I think there are plenty of ways to accidentally DDOS their servers, or sabotage them like exposing their manager's/director's identities online, then digging up dirt on them and destroying their reputations.

 

Hum. I don't really care tbh... I've been reading a few Qidian novels on their app for a few months already, no issues so far. For now.

 

Some of qi latest chapters require you to watch ads before reading, and im ok with this. The only problem i encountered is that when i use my phones browser ( safari ), there seems to be no ad for me to watch hence cant read the chapters. Do you guys know how i can fix this problem? Or is it just ne that encountered this.

Btw some new chapters from nobels in qi have been out for days akready, why isnt it updated in nu ?

To read those chapters you have to download an app if i'm not wrong

Some of the released chapters was "meant" to be bonus chapters. The very reason why QI put adwall to those chapters and the very reason why it was not included in NU

 

So it seems the only way i can read the latest chapters is to dl the app or use my desktop and read from there thanks thou for the help

Does this mean that since its supposed to be a bonus chapter, if i wait for a few days then perhaps the adwall on that chaptet be romoved? Or it will be the start of endless adwalls?

If its the later then i have to dl the app or read from the desktop, thats the only choice why dont they just copy how other sites use ads

Although advantage of reading it from their app is that there is no ads on those advance chapters

Im just glad that i only have to wait a little longer or couple of days and the previous adwall would be removed, and i no longer need to dl anything just to read

 

I will ask around and see if theres a way to solve the safari problem and if its maybe not local and we can do something on our end, I don't know how fast it'll be to change though.
