I like how the MC is always very cautious and tries to think several steps ahead. He's very methodical.
And I find it funny/unique how he comes up with outrageous plans like spamming a massive amount of low-quality spell seals to overwhelm a superior foe.

This novel's theme of "turning trash into treasure" is pretty entertaining.

 

I'm starting to think that Xianxias are all the same.

 

I like how it resembles 70% of the other novels I like =D

Yeah exactly! That's what got me into this story. Reminds me of WALL-E Lol. I have high hopes for it so I hope it doesn't let me down. There should be more stories like this though, kinda sad haha

 

That spamming thing is literally what Meng Hao does quite a few times...

Yeah, the novel didn't get off to a great start, I have to admit.

1. The original translator (chapters 1-24)... was not very good. Thankfully, the current translator (chapters 25-60) is excellent.
2. The early parts of the novel involved a lot of hardcore pill refining and closed-door cultivation, which can understandably get tedious.

But I feel those reviews are a little outdated. The MC has somewhat moved on from just refining and cultivating (although that's still in the background). He's gotten more involved in the cultivation world and has been in life-and-death fights since then.

 

yeah, for story with 4000 chapter, 40 chapter was just not enough for review material. even issth has a boring start before it gets people hooked.

Thanks for letting me know. I don't use that site so I had no idea. There are a lot of chapters in that novel. I think I'll wait for a lot of chapters to be translated before reading it.
