What really happened during the Gravity Tales migration

The majority of the people who moved over from gravity to WW ended up moving from WW to Qi.

i highly doubt if he has full grasp of the situation also.

 

I don't know what you mean, by saying "okay, so?" You asked how is DB able to confirm this information, and I pointed out how. I doubt anyone has a full grasp of the situation in everything, that's why I said "gist." Most everyone behind the scene is in agreement with what generally went down. It happened. It is not a hoax. The details might differ from person to person, but it did happen.

 

Not a majority. Just Half. Also, Shanks is correct. The events that took place is consistent among all sources aside from GGP and his sycophants.

 

As a former Gravity member, I was in contact with many of the translators and members of the community that were directly involved in and affected by the situation. Additionally, I had access to Gravity's internal server. Like shanks said, word spreads in the community. I can affirm that most, if not all, of the information in the parent post was true -- and many translators and editors, such as DeathBlade, learned of the details. It did happen, and while nobody said anything at the time, that doesn't mean that it didn't occur.

yeah, i am aware of that fact also.

but lets all face it. we are all humans, stuffs might have happened and he may have panic and taken drastic actions, but that still does not warrant treating like a bad guy.

i still want to hear from him regarding the Qi deals though

 

So I'm a member of the translation community (using an alt). I also heard about what GGP did that cause the Exodus of translators. It's completely true as far as I know.

GGP has always been paranoid of RWX. So it wasn't too big a surprise when all of this happened. Just a sense of betrayal.

About the TL moving from GT-WW-QI-GT... I don't care too much

In short, people left because there were death flags appearing in GT.

 

So, in the merged GT megathread it has been pointed out that QI IPO statement (which are legally required to reveal their assets) state they already bought 90% stake in gravity. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere in this thread.

Funny how when this thread started, everyone was like bullshit, but then a few days later, most of it (or even all) of it turns out to be true.
