Discussion Google search results biased ?

I'm guess this actually has a lot to do with WW's ad problems.

 

And why does it matter that much to you? Are u that easily get offended just by search result?

 

I attended a seminar before on how to improve your site in being found first in google and paying is not on the top options. There are other things at work. I get that QI has some serious shade right now but it's ridiculous to immediately jump to that conclusion.

 

Damn same for me and I don't even read PW or Qidian.

You know all those cookie notifications yoh get from websites and if your logged into a gmail/chrome they all collect data on you which then a really complicated algorithm uses to give you search results if you want true unbiased results use like tor or a vpn connection otherwise even incognito tracks you somewhat

That's basic, Qidian got strong SEO(Search Engine Optimization) support staffs. I really don't get why, Qidian got the best(almost) staffs, but shitty decisions from [higher-ups]. I'm really wondering why they were the [higher-ups] in the first place, their brains have already been kicked by a donkey yet still retains the position? Second Gen? err... dunno

P.S. SEO are mostly responsible for this case, since they are the brains in linking the right keywords that will highly appear in Search Engines(High traffic can help, but it only a tad).

Its called SEO, some folks have departments of people whose jobs are to help their website rise to the top of the first page in google...think how many times you really scroll to page 2 of google.
If your type in a term like Life insurance, what company is the first link? Do you think that spot is valuable? yea...

 

Google was known to be biased for many years as various lawsuits were filed under competition law and to reduce a competitive market which is usually a good thing (competition is good for both the consumers and the independent small scale entrepreneurs who have just entered the market). A similar analogy can be drawn with regard to light novel scenario. Qidan is close to having a monopoly over the market which is neither a good thing for the consumers (for they will have no say nor choice) or for that matter small translating groups.

Wuxia World's chapter 89 "should" be the first result but that page is not optimized for search engines so it doesn't even rank.

First off, the title isn't even Perfect World, it's "PF" which will not make it rank for "Perfect World."
Second, in the entire page, the words "Perfect World" never even appear, therefore the Google bot won't even know that it's about Perfect World, lol.
Third, it's not mobile-friendly.
Fourth, it doesn't have a sub-heading (the h3 tag) which should be the chapter title.
Fifth, it's not optimized even for my desktop. I have to side-scroll...
