Recently I have been enjoying books where the protagonist or a group of people with modern knowledge get displaced into a place with the technology level similar to earth before the industrial revolution or much further back. I like reading about someone trying to introduce modern technology relative to the worlds current technology, and how he goes about it and how it influences the world he is in currently.

Here is a list of the books I can remember which I have read and does exactly this or something similar.

    - 1632 by Eric Flint, I have read most of the books in the 1632 series.
    - The Alexander Inheritance by Eric Flint.
    - Time Spike.
    - Conrad Stargard series, The Cross-Time Engineer, etc.
    - Lost Regiment series by William R. Forstchen.
    - Lest Darkness Fall by L. Sprague de Camp.
    - A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.
    - Island in the Sea of Time series by S.M. Stirling.
    - Conflict (Crossover Series).
    - Destiny's Crucible Series by Olan Thorensen
    - Daniel Black series by E. William Brown.
    - A Step into the Past by Huang Yi.
    - The Casere series by Michael O'Neill.

I know that novelupdate caters to japanese light novel and Chinese web novels and such, but i think that there are people here who might know a few books with a similar premise.

Haven't read more than a couple of chapters but Primordial Wars should be in that vein as well

While trying to find the title of one I read a long time ago (probably one of the 1632 books or maybe the Nantucket one) I found some useful pages:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nantucket_series
    https://www.reddit.com/r/booksugges.../modern_people_go_back_in_time_like_the_1632/

    http://io9.gizmodo.com/the-most-unusual-alternate-history-novels-ever-publishe-1518395336
(The comments on this page mention a bunch)

    On NU there is...
    http://www.novelupdates.com/series/risou-no-himo-seikatsu/
The MC goes to another world with old tech, he was able to take some things with him with a month+ of warning.
The cutting edge technology of that world is Galleon ships (I think). Magic is important but not very powerful. Introducing modern technology is not a major part of the plot, but it's always there going on in the background and will come up in the conversations now and then. It's not unimportant though, since the story seems to be trying to be as realistic as possible in a fantasy world.
A couple of the recent chapters were about making sure that the MC's country got the Galleon ship technology

    There's also this one:
    http://www.novelupdates.com/series/takarakuji-de-40-oku-atattandakedo-isekai-ni-ijuu-suru/
but I haven't read it, so I don't know if it's any good.

Have you read anything by H. Beam Piper? You should look up the stories in the Paratime Series. The best (IMHO) is the Kalvan series; start with Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen. The Belisarius Saga by David Drake and Eric Flint, is awesome as well.

Both of those look interesting, I will save Gateway - What Lies Beyond to read later, but I'm not sure if Hawk, the Stone Age Spirit Guide is worth paying for a premium account at sol.

I tried to read it a while back, but never really got into it.

Thank you for those links, i found some stuff there that i will read later.
I have read Risou no Himo Seikatsu and Takarakuji de 40-oku Atattandakedo Isekai ni Ijuu Suru, I really enjoyed reading both of them.

I looked up the Paratime Series and I'm definitely reading them, the Belisarius Saga also looks quite interesting so I'm saving that for when i have time.

I have already read all three books in the Destiny's Crucible series, waiting for book four which he said should get released early September if a remember correctly.
The Emerilia series is a LitRPG series which i have kinda gotten tired of, I might read it if i don't have anything else to read.

Stargate Guardian's Order, well it's a space opera but the MC has even more futuristic knoweldge than the futuristic era he is in.
