    So @Qidian now has picked up Release that Witch. But somehow their translator decided to change agatha name to elsa

    So, which one do you prefer, lets discuss

    Agatha sounds like a German middle aged librarian or something. Elsa sounds too much like Fairy Tail / Frozen, hard to decide.

    I dont care if they're dropping chapters that fast, but if they dont bring their quality up, they should not be allowed to post on Novel Updates.

    After all, Seki has been learning chinese since 352. And he's improved greatly within this past 2 months. Enough that he's not MTL all that much and actually translating the series.

    Please support proper translators guys, not this QI bullshit.

    Seki... Seki.. is that the one whose translations we initially rejected because they started while volare was still posting chapters - before the announcement that the project would be dropped - accompanied by some one-liner about how he wasn't "trying to steal volare's project or anything, they're just slow." ?

    ... and weeks* 2 weeks* ... How much chinese can you learn in two weeks? :hmm:

    Just compared QI chapter 353 to Seki's.
    Although Seki isn't confident about his translation quality and accuracy, it is miles better than QI's and I hope he will continue his good work.

    They were slow; their translator just up and disappeared. Also, Seki's translations have greatly improved in quality, give the latest chapters a read yourself.

    "My name is Agatha, a witch of the Taqila Exploration Society"
    is...
    "我叫爱葛莎，是塔其拉探秘学会的女巫"

    Her name is 爱葛莎 (aigesha), which is the Chinese transliteration of Agatha.

    I'd say Seki is a genius. He has improved very fast. From MTL to learn Chinese in less than 3 months. I've read an article that a person can master a new language in 3 months if they give their best.
