    Full title: The Reader and Protagonist Definitely Have to Be in True Love

    This is an action-filled BL love story. The main POV character is an ordinary person who got transported into the world of the novel he was reading. There he encounters the protagonist of the book and their romance starts when he says “Meow.” Note: Du Zhe (读者 meaning Reader) and Du Ze (杜泽 the character’s name) sound almost the same.

    The basic summary:

    Du Ze likes to troll his favorite author because he loves the attention. However, this backfired spectacularly when the author became inspired by his troll posts. Du Ze's beloved story of a cute, OP harem master suddenly made a wrong turn and became super edgy and dark.

    Then Du Ze got transported into the world of the story...

    Characters:

    Main character: The reader is deaf and uses a hearing aid. Uke. Due to childhood trauma and his disability, he finds it hard to overcome social barriers to talk to people normally. Smart type when it comes to non-social interactions. Physically weak but brave. Dense when it comes to romance.

    Male lead: The protagonist was formerly a kind, friendly, self-sacrificing hero, but after he was betrayed and hunted down by his former friends, he turned into a cold-blooded killing machine. Seme. Possessive and jealous. He has eight different forms, each with it’s own powers, and all of them are kick-ass: angel, demon, elf, gnome, dragon, undead, beastkin, and human. Protective and doting lover.

    Seme and Uke are terms for the two roles traditionally used in BL/yaoi.

    To put it in grossly simplified terms, the seme is the "man" of the relationship.

    As for what that means, I think you can imagine

    Um, seme in Japanese martial arts (like kendo) means the attacker. The uke is the one who is being attacked.
