Discussion What would your ability be?

I wish i had the ability to hibernate or to simply sleep for days

 

manipulation
now i mean the vague type
why is it vague?
cause if its vague it means i can manipulate anything and i mean anything from time to space to normal manipulation on humans

Immortality and the ability to traverse space as I am (without dying, so some limited level of energy manipulation), and being hard (not impossible, just hard) to kill. And obviously the ability to share this with others, as eternity alone sounds quite dull.

 

manipulation but super specific. Only manipulating things you manipulate.

 

Zero Field: the ability to create a bubble around you to erase all presence, from sight, sound ,smell, blood thirst, etc... basically anyone outside the bubble would not notice your existence, like the ultimate invisibility technique. the ability is like being in a pocket dimension except that anyone can technically enter as long as they can find it which means they can still hurt you. If small enough (about one person size) the bubble can be shaped allowing you to have it on your skin making it so that unless someone actually bumps into you (thus passing through the bubble) they wont notice you even if your right behind them. while in actual combat it may not be too helpful as people can do a spray and pray attack and under the assumption that we are normal besides the one ability you can still be hit, but for assassinations and scouting it is impossible to beat as you could walk right up to someone and stab them in an area full of people without being notice. as long as your attack is strong enough to kill them in the first place then doing so will be as easy as taking a stroll.
the field can also become even smaller for other aspects such as pretending to have a hole in your chest(technically they cant see guts that aren't hidden as they simply are not perceiving the hole rather than it not being there), hiding only your head and freaking people out as the headless horseman, or making your hands invisible to do things.

the most important aspect is that the bubble must be connected to a part of the body. so you cant just make something disappear before their eyes without some of your body disappearing as well.

 

That would certainly be a power that would make life interesting. I would probably restrict it so all the powers are minor so like telekinesis, but with a range of a few meters and only able to control something that your strength allows (it would feel the same as lifting something with your own hands except it's with your mind so you'd still be tired and you can't lift something like a car). The next day you could have the ability to hover only a few meters off the ground, the next read only the thoughts of animals or people who you know by name only, the next the power to chill any drink perfectly, the next the power to understand all language (of course for only that day), the next etc...

 

Resources, as long as I have it then everything will be mine. for example :resourceful (want one more chance to get an ability meaning, stealing somebody else's chance) , lack of information? never again, secrets of the universe? heh, everything as long as it counts as "resource"

 

The ability to control reality.

Kind of boring as an answer, but I would be able to play with that for at least a few thousand years before I commit suicide.

 

Being happy? That could be a great but understimated power...I mean, I could create universes, but some outerverse god would probably find a way to fuck me off...so...

i would have the ability to come up with a good comeback or action after the event to use it has passed , wait ... i already got that ability -.- then i might go with the ability to skip loading screens in games .

 

immortal- this of course comes with a package of strength, speed, edict memory, immune to all external drug poisons, virus bacteria, infections
morphing ability- lets me turn take on any appearance, age, shape or form down to the atomic level perfect for an immortal in a human world to hide.

 

I would like to have the ability to summon but only reptilian (snakes,lizards etc)
And merge body parts with them
(Snake poisonous bite)
(Lizard hard bite)
Etc

 

Hmm I can agree with those restrictions. I can imagine having that power and the second I receive a new power I would instantly start planning on what and how I should use it because who knows when or even if you'd get it again. I mean there a lot of different powers out there.
