I have been liking recently how the mc is getting help from others. The difference between people who have bloodline and who don't is showing itself. I like that the mc (who doesn't have bloodline) isn't just way overpowered where he is defeating top level disciples without using any underhanded tricks and is being pushed to his limits. Great work by the author for not ruining the bloodlines couple hundred chaps in.

 

Who's the Mcs love interest I thought is was the gu clan girl but now there is night demon can someone please tell me if they know?

Well it is a xianxia at heart so there are always gonna be evil young masters, but yea the studying and lack of bloodline makes it so much more interesting. many questions appear such as how he solve the problem of having no bloodline and how will his eye power evolve.

 

Whata good chapter, now he have a real aspiration and a good reason to reach the top, much better than the MCs of the other novels that cultivate only to get stronger.

 

yea, and loved how the old man went after him for his motivation being for a girl. Made me smirk. Plus, this may very well be one of my favourite school arcs.

 

First time I have seen the "frog in a well" idiom work so well in a xianxia. It was unexpected and you could tell the mc was affected by it.

Man, this chapter was awesome. I don't think anyone has tackled this question of secret keeping before. If he says yes, this is going to be an incredible novel

 

yea the entire novel is great. Keeps you interested even without mc going on massive adventures, finding treasures, and massive power ups.

 

That's not how things will go but you will feel that killing the enemy and taking their stuff will be a merciful option later on. Pity the MC's enemies, being taken alive by him is a fate worse than death. His allies and servants however, profit tremendously.

 

I hope the author doesn't change the MC. He has always been calculative with everything he has done. It would be a complete reversal if he decides to do all this work and give it out to everyone for free. Knowing his character he would want to control who knows what.

 

yea i hope he ends up making a massive profit off selling cultivation manuals. Though i can't for some face slapping the bloodline families, that is going to be good.

This. I hate itwhen I'm reading a Xianxia and the MC chooses not to dual cultivate in body and energy, or a fantasy novel where the MC learns magic but doesn't train their body. It isn't about them being OP and a Jack of All Trades, it's about the fact that they are limiting themselves and training in both paths has so much potential.

 

well that is also downside of his master, even though he provides mc with a lot, he is still single minded. he doesn't take arcane style in consideration at all and considers it wrong. mc is more open minded actually, and it doesn't seem like he is going to follow in his master's footsteps and do his own thing. though their goal is the same, they are taking a different approach.

 

Tsk tsk tsk, this is clearly the part where she goes with them and they attempt to do something bad to her, after all almost all arrogant masters are laweless pieces of crap.
