This has been bothering me for awhile so i thought i'd finally ask. How much is a drop in Novels? sometimes they make it seem like its a literal drop, others it seems like a mouthful. Am i overthinking it or is it just terminology for a small amount of a liquid?

chinese authors just don't understand logic, period. Don't get me started on how often they say something is "incomparable" like they don't even know the meaning of the word. They also like to say "impossible to imagine" when literally nothing is impossible to imagine, if there's one thing that is undoubtedly limitless it would be the human imagination.

    You are overthinking it.

Unless you have a very small mouth as big as those from small mice then it would be a mouthful.
A drop of water is the same anywhere. Blame the authors for wrong interpretation.

I think so he's talking about, the quantity unit ' a drop.'
Like Mr x, grabbed a drop of it and ran away.
Likewise, he had a drop of it.
Or add a drop of it while refining.
A drop of dragon blood integrated in his body.

So I guess, he wants to know whether a drop is a drop or a drop here can be a cupful of liquid...or maybe a spoonful.

To be frank I am not sure how much is in a drop.

The drop that the OP is referring to is a drop of blood or a drop of heavy water or whatever the author refers to when using liquids in CN, AFAIK.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. If that is what the OP meant then a drop means like a droplet of water in an ocean.
