    I just wondering what is the lock icon on the latest chapter of TDC mean because i havent seen that until now

    Personally, I wait for the ad-wall to go away before reading chapters.
    For people like me, is there a way hide locked releases, and still recieve updates when previously locked chapters become "unlocked"?
    Currently I have to click the locked release, then scroll up two chapters.

    I second this question, how is NU determining if a chapter is adwalled? Is there a criteria, e.g. would announcement post leading to adfly also be lock-iconned?

    Since NU is making the distinction, Will it be coming out with a feature to subscribe to solely non adwalled chapters without filtering out entire novels altogether?

    It means the chapter is adwalled. Once it's unlocked, NU will remove the icon.

    It's just smart business. Lets say another novel aggregator site comes up that has features to filter out these locked chapters and updates when chapters become unlocked. A large chunk of readers will use that site instead because it's more convenient.

    I was sorta OK when ad wall was only for guardian but now that it's for almost all their series I'm quite pissed. WW n Volare don't need ad walls to make a profit so why the fuck did quidian put them up :confused:
