@KQy @Eintagsfliege @Night Ghost Ooh, welcome to the garden~! I thought this place had died. Which one was that? I've heard of "A Kiss for the Petals", but I haven't played it yet. There are so many VNs that I want to play, but they cost so much money... T_T I'm still waiting for "Nurse Love Addiction" to go on sale. Talking of VNs, Ebi-hime (author of "Once on a Windswept Night") is a releasing a maid yuri named "Blackberry Honey" soon~! I don't know how I feel about the art, though. Oh - and "Kase-san and..." is getting more animated stuff~! <3 <3 <3
@Moonpearl Blackberry Honey seem legit, must be noted but i think i cant play any VN anymore, i dont always have spare time, and i dont have money to buy some, i hope my friend will buy some and share it to me I think i have read kase-san but i completely forget since my memory is a bit off recently, is it about book shop that went run down but somehow keep operating?
They definitely burn a hole in your wallet... I keep my eye out for free to play ones. I've yet to read Kase-san myself, but I think it's a high school romance story. The first one is called "Kase-san and Morning Glories". Ah, that one. I'll be happy to give it a miss. Thank you.
I have read and watch way too many manga, literature, and anime on my mind, that make me keep forgetting somthing trivial like titles and name But i think kase san isnt the one i mention earlier, i think its the one with gardening and sport stuff
Speaking of yuri... It made me remember the anime "kanazuki no miko" . I never thought that it was yuri until the plot twist at the last episode where they both dump the seemingly perfect male mc for each other.. I feel conflicted. Lol
The PV animation is on the fourth page of the thread, if you haven't seen it already. It's super cute~!
One of my favorites has to be Notes from the Garden of Lilies. Or anything else by Suga Atsushi, really. Or Itou Hachi (ex. here). Or Otsu Hiyori (ex. here) Or Morinaga Milk...Amagakure Gido....
I absolutely love Itou Hachi's works as well! It's one of my favorite authors!!!! I'm so behind in stalking their works though... orz
*Nod nod* I really like how fluffy Itou-sensei's works are. Don't get me wrong, I like me some yuri angst too, but sometimes it is really nice to set that all aside and visit a world where things generally go well and yuri relationships aren't something to hide or worry about.
*nod nod nod* Same here! The angst is nice and all, but the flufiness and cuteness of Itou-sensei's works are just incredibly lovely!!! \(^^)/
Continuing this point, I would strongly suggest reading Always Human on WebToon. The world the author envisions is one I really hope we are moving towards, where a number of different kinds of relationships are just accepted as a matter of course. All the normal baggage moves out of the way, and the story can just focus on the interactions between the variuos characters.
Yeah, its must be the one with gardening and sport, the book shop one must be himawari san, and anyone have read sayuri chan, its a bit ero but its good one
I've read Kase-san and Himawari, but not "Sayuri-chan". Judging from search results (praise be to Google-sensei), I assume you are talking about "Black Lily to Sayuri-chan"? I'll have to take a look
Hmmm... Did anyone here ever read the manga "Eventually I Will Become Yours"? (I think the name is different if you check at batoto, but I never use batoto for anything, so I wouldn't know.) It's my favorite GL manga atm, but I think it isn't that well known... It's an interesting story about high school girls that doesn't focus on the usual thing of being okay to love another girl or not... Instead, it's focus on a character that simply fails to fall in love at all, she doesn't understand love, and she doesn't think she can feel it. It's quite easy to get attached to her, and all other characters are pretty interesting by themselves as well. Hmmmm... I honestly want to say more about it, but I feel afraid of spoiling things because I have been reading it since the first chapter was translated, so it's hard for me to remember the feeling it gave back at the start... It's an engaging romance story that captivated me quite a bit, I recommend it.
*nod nod* I'm enjoying that one as well! I had to take another look to be sure since I'm reading it on Dynasty, where the title is different, but I was able to make the connection. The current play storyline is interesting to me. It seems to be mirroring Kare Kano (non-yuri, but still a great series) a little, where because the characters in the play in some way mirror the actresses, it is an interesting way to bring to light and magnify the personalities and even potential flaws of the actresses. Can't wait to see how this storyline ends up!
