(Joke) Why CN Novels are so bad

Read like 3 or 4 then realised I had read them all... And after 500 chapters with zlich for character development... I just gave up (mind you that was 500 chapters for each, I want my lost time back T-T)

 

I have to a conclusion that the quality of CN novel is related to the young masters in it. Better quality young masters, better story. We all know that the MC can even smoke pole and still win a fight to the point it got bland fast, so its up to the young masters to spice it up, them salt of the story. Viva le young masters.

 

I do read KR novels, but not as much as JP ones. I planned on binge reading EER when it's finished. Beside there are few KR novels, i will read more if there are more KR novels in the furture

 

I have a rule of thumb when it comes to CN, if by 100 chapters I've encountered the following:

• "How could trash be so stronk!?"
• 3-4 female characters who were interesting at the first, but then reduced into whatever desirable female the author sadly has.
• Mc being saved because he is the Mc
• Power creep

I drop it immediately.

 

I like to unearth gems in CN, because a lot JPN just felt like they are messing with me... their pacifism is just too high
While in other hand I hadn't find a korean novel i keep in my reading list

seriously though can't they write romance without forcing snu snu with the excuse of drugs!

 

True. Chinese and japanese novels got a lot of plot armors which most so obvious that you would disgrace your entire bloodline if you don't see them. However, some plot armors are very sneaky. Take release that witch for an example. The MC roland have the basic knowledge of inventing something but lack the materials and methods. Then voila!! A sexy and cute witch comes out and help or a cute and sexy witch ability evolved, etc.

 

I'm joking about how people always bash on several qualities in Cn novels and Journey to the west (the story the 4 videos, for the MOST part, paraphrase, a pivotal part of Chinese literature) shares a lot of these elements (though they are mostly done well)


You know, I realize a lot of people are just bashing CN novels and are not actually engaging with the videos... this makes me a little sad.

 

And mc sometimes is a hypocrite, alway show off like saint good guy but alway made ppl hate him to kill and rob them eif excuse

The problem is the modern chinese culture. As a Person who is of Chinese Descent, I know this.

 

In my opinion, in CN the main characters are antagonized so much that living without plot armor is imposible.
It`s like trying to pass dark souls without dying even once. Possible? well, yeah. Likely? No.
So, the way plot armor is integrated in the story, be it by a stronger senior, magical item, hidden bloodline, etc... That is what makes a CN go from eye rolling to giving goosebumps.

It just feels weird and funny seeing all your opinions of CN now as at one point CN was on high demand on many site then it became cancer. Luckily I killed my brain and master the use of MLT to learn the truth of CN before I known of novelupdate so I don't waste my time on most of them again.

its because the authors thinks it appeals to the teen readers more when sex falls onto their laps. I mean really if you have a option to be lazy and get sex why go through the motions to woo a girl into it. Also it's probably every teenage boy's(some men too) dream to start off the process of romance with sex instead of feelings.

 

CN is bad, because of people who cannot see Mt. Tai.
