Yeah, I noticed...but why aren't there many Korean translators? I live in the US, and there're definitely a LOT more Koreans than Japanese...

Because there aren't many Koreans that come to this community.
For Japanese, manga and anime draw them in. (lots of mtl too)
Korean? I don't think that Kpop has a relation to webnovels...

There are so many of them...
    50 mil in Korea.
    125 mil in Japan.
    1.3 bil in China.

Plus, Chinese are the most numerous Asian in America.
    Singapore too; they know Chinese.

Maybe they just don't know that a lot of stuff is free? I actually didn't know where are the free stuff was until this year. There are a lot of official and paid sites that are visible, but a lot of the free novels on small blogs

Maybe because they have to pay for chapter? The donations don't fit the demand? Lol. I really want the Scholar Reincarnation Novel... sigh

I know this, but I was guessing that most of the translators to English would be in the US or other English-speaking countries, and there aren't as many Japanese in those countries as Koreans

There's actually a lot of free novels if you look in the right places. Just google 인소, and there'll be 100 blogs with full-length novels up for download.

The korean LN scene isn't as heavily monetized as JP/CN hence less translators. If there was a larger demand and more money maybe someone doing a WW properly for KR LNs the community could grow more, but sadly that hasn't really happened yet.

IIRC, besides the fact that there aren't that many Korean TLers, the Korean publishers are a lot stuffier about licensing than other publishers. They will flat out DMCA your ass without needing a trigger. There is also less profit to be made in the Korean LN scene, so publishers don't really care much for expanding on a global scale since they won't earn much from it.
