    They are different authors. The first is Ichiei Ishibumi and the second Rifujin na Magonote.

    dido but that's probably why its so good is the author settles for 3 wives and not a dozen or more with no personality

    Japanese light novels have mastered the harem genre in my opinion. I like the authors of:

    Infinite stratos, korewa zombie desu ka, rokujouma no shinryakusha, oreshura, hentai prince and the stony cat, Konosuba, oregairu, and to aru majutsu no index.

    My qualifications for the harem genre are the heroines must have great personalities and the MC shouldn't be a sex maniac who's just after them for a physical relationship, otherwise its just straight up hentai and I'll start getting frustrated for mistreating the characters. Lol

    of the choices in the poll, I'm going with Fenglin Tianxia. Though if it was authors in general, I'd says the DxD one was good. To aru and champione are pretty good too.

    Whoever wrote seventh, and kuro no maou, also modern weapons, because the only good harem is a yandere harem.

    Fenglin Tianxia all the way , in fact it's one of the few i can swallow and appreciate.
    I never liked Mars gravity , tho to be fair the first part of ATG was great. (when he was a cripple xD)

    was it high comprehension, school bodyguard or some other series by that guy. i really liked the beginning of translations for these stories.

    Yea, I'm reading bodyguard. It's well done in my opinion. I have to MTL, but I'm not sad. I mean, this is the first story I'm reading which surpassed 2000 chapters and I still have 3000 more to go. I am not tired of it either.

    How's High comprehension?

    Fenglin Tianxia doesn't have anything harem-like yet in the story other than harem tag on novelupdates.

    As for good harem story, I have not found anything like that up to now.

    School Beaty has better pacing and story than high comprehension. Read up to 800+ chapters of high comprehension before I started loosing interest in the story when compared to 2000+ chapters and counting that I have invested in school beauty personal bodyguard. High comprehension is just a rip off with less likable characters and the MC is not as good as lin ye. Not saying the novel is bad, just saying that it is nothing more than a clone of school beauty without its lighearted charm. Although I must say that it is better than the other two novels by Fishman 2nd gen that comes before school beauty. However since high comprehension comes after school beauty, I expected it to be better, but sadly its a step back.
    I agree though that Fishman has talent when it comes to building an entertaining novel with harem as its foundation.
