Just calling it as it is. He changed America for better or worse

Yeah, I overreacted a bit, but that article hit the wrong points for the most part, and couldve waited a bit to do a critical piece.

 

It is fine. You do have a point, extremes are bad, some people believe no sex discussions at all
But you have to admit that Hefner's life was filled with debauchery or at least he tried to sell such an image of excess drugs and sex
He was no saint or champion for any sort of cause especially sexual liberation.
He just wanted to make money

 

Well I would actually say that sexual liberation is one the few good things he pushed(if you are in fsvor of that, otherwise he was terrible), and I agree he did it all for his own needs, but isnt that what we all do in some way? I dont even like the guy, well maybe a little bit cause he gave me some late night entertainment If you know what I mean wink wink. Just this paragraph already drained me cause I dont want to defend the guy, just dont like bigoted articles and he was in it this time. I do wonder though, when did his dong stop working and how big was it? Maybe we will never know.

 

Hahaha I watched Girl Next Door when I was younger but when I saw the article with Bill Cosby, I had chills.
Not really having any issue with Hefner

 

if you changed society even if it wasn't your intention- should you still be given recognition?

i think getting credit is fine- he probably helped changed society. saying absolutely not- just because it wasn't his intention- would be wrong... cause extremes are bad.

and yes... bill cosby... almost every other post mentions him... you don't have to drill that any harder....
