After reading it, this is a synapsis is slightly slightly off...... By a lot.
The main idea when you read the synopsis, is that you feel it is a story of a dimension traveling protagonist adventuring and doing amazing heroic and adventurous like stuff in the stories in order to reach godhood.

So it couldn't be any more wrong. This is a story of a true scientist. Story of a dark lord, the story of a cosmic horror, and the story of a god.

Cultivation? Enlightenment? Comprehension?
Nonsense.
The first part of the story makes it seem like so, but it quickly changes.
A protagonist first and foremost is a scientist. A true scientist.
While others are busy slowly building themselves up and getting stronger with luck and fights , our protagonist has none of that. Nothing but science, math and logic.

In fact, his goal for godhood is actually achieved within the first hundred chapters. (As of typing this there's over 800 chapters)
But not in the type of godhood you imagine, not the type of Divine godhood. the quantum high-dimensional creature type.
The story is heavily, heavily science based. (The author himself seems to actually have a Physics degree)

So what does a mad scientist do after achieving godhood? That's the real fun of the story. The MC essentially torments entire universes.
Whole universe is become his experimental field, he played with them for millions and billions of years in various timeline and parallel realities.
All for the sake of experiment.
He destroys world after World and initiates Mass genocide of entire races.
All for the sake of science.

So a good chunk of the story isn't it actually about the MC doing stuff, it's actually about the rest of the universe is trying to stop the MC in a desperate attempt to challenge fate and overcome the control of God Almighty himself.

No no no no not evil. That's actually a big point In the story. He's definitely not evil. But you can't classify him as a good you definitely cannot.
But how you say orange and blue morality?

His morality alignment is so different from mere humans, you can't classify him as good or evil. But definitely from the eyes of Mortals he's the either absolute true evil, mad or good(?)
Depending on which perspective you're looking at, and the fundamental goal of the experiment.

Let me add some more things, this book actually questions the meaning of existence to a very special Viewpoint. The MC is a Quantum creature, meaning he exists in the past present and future at the same time, in multiple forms in multiple shapes. Possessing omniscience and omnipresence which equates to omnipotence when you can move into any timeline and just change a single variable. So it questions the meaning of existence, and the protagonist questions his existence using various viewpoints.

 

..I'm saying that you should've @ ed them bcs no fan-tler wants to pick up a Qidian work now.

 

No you slightly misunderstanding here. In the start he was never a scientist, the scientist part kind of stuck to him after his massive intelligence boost.
MC is a truth-seeker, he seeks the truth in everything and everywhere.
Also, some universes are slightly different like some universes have different laws and different physical rules, so he still exploring the Multiverse

If there's one thing I should add, is that the powers of traveling worlds is actually his own power. He doesn't get any special system or anything

Because a scientific can also try to understand, not to search the truth, it depends mostly on what kind I guess ?

 

The fun part of this is reading how bullshit levels of powerful he is. Taking the most simplest of powers and adding the peak of scientific logic to them to take them to God level..

For example using simple telekinesis, he can rearrange things at the molecular level.
In another situation, he once nuke punched a hole right through the planet Earth with only enough power that equates to a single first level spell.
He then fucked a god sideways using imaginary numbers mathematics and some kind of infinity +1 attack

A great fun of the stories understanding how science can make the most mundane things so horribly horrible

 

Any love interests? Also, is there a cultivation technique/ magic spell he trains in? How is he when compared to Leylin or Fang Yuan (Reverend Insanity)?
