This happens to be a jewel I unearthed through someone else’s request. The novel itself is extremely unique and is nothing like your usual isekai trash which gives most Japanese novels a bad rep(and it isn’t an isekai at all). I’ll let the description explain itself, but it’s basically about an immortal demon princess which is on some quest to do a thing(I honestly don’t know, and don’t know why I attempted to explain it). Additionally, there is some sweet-ass art that comes with every chapter, it’s kind of like reading a light novel in webnovel form. Lastly, the story is about a regular 4-6k characters long, and I’d say requires maybe a decent understanding of Japanese(which I don’t have, I just had help from various people) to translate as there are some pretty difficult sentences and words in the story, oh, and there are a lot of Buddhist references in the novel from what I’ve seen. Description: Ashur, the young holy knight whom was appointed the task of recapturing relics, meets with the Princess of night demons that was trapped in the Eternal Night, Shion, and the forgotten ancient Earth spider, Izuma. The spark from that encounter caused a flame that would change history. A powerful enemy awaits–Overlord, wriggling in an enormous conspiracy, leaving the heroes to rely on the manifestation of their own will, a “Spindle”. And, what will be the outcome of the repeatedly intertwined love, how will it conclude? This is a tale of fantasy, while also at the same time, a sacrament of the “soul”. I would continue translating this novel myself, but I’m currently occupied with three other projects, including I said make my abilities average!, thus, I am unable to continue this rare find of a novel. I would really hope someone with a good understanding of Japanese, as well as English would pick this up. I really want to see this novel get decently translated with as few errors as possible. +1 I found this a while ago too, and it seems very interesting. It's written very nicely and in the style of an epic medieval fantasy story. It's also refreshingly pure fantasy in the sea of isekai fantasy stories. From what I can see it has demons, knights/paladins, powerful magic weapons (holy relics), and medieval European appearance. It would be great if someone that can write well could translate this.
I would actually like to admit a mistake that I made while translating. The main male protagonist's name isn't "Ashley", it's probably closer to something like "Ashur". If I can remember later, I'll go back and fix it.
i'll bite. It certainly seems outside the ordinary so i'd def give it a read if someone picked it up and started cranking out chaps to read. The image looks nice as well. *bestows +1*
