Discussion Which anime this season do you guys think is good.

Why? Because it's generic? Or the MC's VA?

 

Aside from Black Clover & Kekkai Sensen 2nd, for this season I'm waiting for 2nd season of Umaru & Hoozuki
For Winter 2018, I'll look forward for CCS Clear Card arc, Ramen Daisuki, Death March, Gakuen Babysitter, Overlord 2nd & Grancrest

 

Mahoutsukai no Yome (The Ancient Magus Bride) is my recommendation for this season, it's a story steeped in the lore/mythos of old english mythology/magic.

 

Kino no tabi . Because its world building is super awesome. Its not something thats been copy pasted like most.

 

Mahoutsukai no Yume, 3-Gatsu and Kekkai Sensen are the ones that interest me most I guess, although I'm usually sceptical of series adapting still ongoing stories, even if done with high quality.
One of the problems for me with anime for the past couple years is that most of the ones that have interested me have been adaptations of stories I can experience in some other way(manga/novel), so if the anime doesn't bother adapting the whole story to it's conclusion then I usually rather just stick to reading the source material.

 

Besides the new seasons of Kekkai Sensen, Food Wars, 3-Gatsu, UQ Holder (kind of a sequel) and Kino's Journey, their's a lot of new shows I'm watching like Juni Taisen, Mahoutsukai no Yome, Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou, Children of the Whales, Black Clover, Houseki no Kuni, Just Because, Net-juu no Susume and Blend-S (<- ordered best to least best), and I'm also watching Vanishing Line (my first GARO which is looking badass) and I'm looking forward to Inuyashiki because the manga was great

 

Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau has that whole.....Suisei no Gargantia feel. Not sure what to think about it...hrm..
Net-juu no Susume was a surprise find. The OP looks really nice. The chemistry is really sweet.
Mahoutsukai no Yome for obligatory watch since lots of good stuff I hear.
I loved the Kino no Tabi manga so I'll probably go for that too.

I'm totally keeping an eye on Houseki no Kuni. The Manga is great o3o

 

So far Kekkai Sensen & Beyond, 3-gatsu no lion second season, and because I like the occasional dumb comedy trope anime animegataris.

I'm probably judging too early but I don't like Inuyashiki because the sympathy build up for the MC was really forced, the climax was completely over the top ridiculous, and I just get the feeling we're going to have half a season at least of old man can do things now that he's a robot so he feels happy being useful to strangers while his family still doesn't care about him.

Wait, there's anime for Gakuen Babysitter???

For me:
Mahoutsukai no Yome (I love the manga because the story is great and the art is good)
Kekkai Sensen and Beyond (Well, at first because I like Leo's seiyuu, but now I like the story as well)
Gintama (for laugh and tears)
Black Clover (maybe if I bored enough and didn't have anything to do)

Shokugeki no Soma, why is this even a discussion? Though I don't watch anime anymore - except for this one, I seriously doubt any other is as good.

 

Dies Irae - For the chuuni and epicness. I played the VN so it's kinda nostalgic for me.
Imouto sae, Blend S, and Osake wa Fufu - For the cuteness and moe.
Umaru S2 - UMR! UMR! UMR!
Mahoutsukai no Yome - Interesting and kinda comfy to see this couple.

On a side note is kekkai sensen good? And do I need to see the first season of it?
