    Yeah. I enjoy the fact that our main couple seem to be the only ones to see the big picture. Everybody is out to get someone that it's escalating quite profoundly. If you think about it, HXW was fortunate to get married to such a level-headed man. Also, YJQ was also fortunate in marrying her. I think it's a huge weight off his back that he now knows that she knows he has.a darker side but doesn't even question him about it.

    On one side, that could be misconstrued as her not caring. However, it's just that she doesn't really care all that much.

    I think he knows that he cares with her "scene" with the eunuch and escaped prisoner.Plus, YJQ knows the extent of her abilities :sushi_cool:

    That's just how it is for power hungry people, I guess. Can't imagine how the childhood YJQ would've felt at that time.

    So true, you ether collapse from the pressures of the Imperial family or you survive. I think YJQ even knows the manipulations of the Imperial Family, that's why he always tamped down his ambitions and molded his image differently from YBY.

    Re the latest three chapters, Xian Wang is outmaneuvering Sheng Wang. Just a few carefully placed gossip caught Hou shi, the Crown Princess, and the Empress. Just one minor official going against YBY's cohort and they just fell like dominoes and now he is going to probably be forced to rebel.

    They should have played chess with YJQ so people would have understood how he truly is.
