I've read the first 10 chapters (first book I think), still world/background building but the story seems interesting and the characters funny and quite new. But I have a couple of questions: who's the main couples? Are there other (bl) couple? Who's the ghost everyone is talking about? (I totally missed it)
This is going to be a big spoiler. Spoiler Han Yuan killed (the literal meaning of "kill") Cheng Qian in Chapter 40 or so, and fled because of fear or guilty. He then slipped into Demonic Tao and became schizophrenic. He committed many sins before he remet his brothers and sister, and was not permitted to go back to Fuyao Mountain as a punishment. It is difficult to make it clear without involving many other events in this novel. I can only say, in my opinion, this novel is really well organised and full of twists. Generally, the first half of the story can be a little slow, as there’s quite a lot of foreshadowing. But they will conspire to erupt in the second half(like after Cheng Qian's death), which is quite exciting and fascinating. Hope you get what I mean.
