    isnt wei translation translating it ?? and there is nothing that says in his page about stoping his work :/

    Hmm, i think the question is whether the translator is still the same persons, double translators, or qidian just steal/aggregating it...

    Well atleast the release speed is better and according to TL @GodBrandy the second translator will start sometime in future and release rate will increase to 14 chaps/week
    It's at least better than 3 chaps/week
    Much better for me though

    well, technically they're not stealing it, since they own the rights to the novel, so as far as i know (i know nothing about the law, it's just a guess) they can just take the translation, since the translator have no rights to the translation, making it a public thing

    Qidian cannot stole the translation, but the previous translator cannot publish it either.
    Thats why qidian retranslated last 20 or so chapter not just show the previous translation in their web

    tell me why they can't? the rights to the book is theirs, meaning they also own the right to translate it into w/e they want, where the translator have no rights, so even if they complained about Qidian ''stealing'' their translation, they would have no ground to stand on? the translator uploaded the translation to an online site with no rights to it, meaning its pretty much for public use, sure, if some no name site came an copied the translation, people would frown upon it, but that just comes down to ''manners'', which doesn't really matter to Qidian, since it is theirs

    Yup, qidian own the right for the book. But the translation work that wei do from ccg is not qidian's.
    So wei cannot publish his translation, but qidian cannot post wei work either
    Thats why qidian retranslate ccg
