Like the title says. What’s the longest amount of time you’ve spent reading a novel in one session or continuously with little to no breaks of reading something or doing something else? Mine was probably Everyone else is a Returnee where I spent like 2 days catching up to the translation at the time. But the oldest incident I can remember of consitent binge reading was when I read volumes 14-24 of A certain magical index OT in like a month or something.
Um for Japanese it was death march from volume 1 to 10 For Chinese it was 6-800 chapters of Coiling Dragon
Probably genius doctor black belly miss. Which ill eventually start reading. The current record holder is coiling dragon though.
that isn't binge reading, you can just call it reading... binge reading would be if you read vol 1-20 in 10 days for me I would say harry potter, I read the 7 books in 4 days back then otherwise probably overlord though I don´t remember how long I took
All 3 maze runner books in one night, but that not the longest or the fastest, but i read so many stuff it doesnt really matter anymore. Maybe complet CDring the weekend ? I dont know
I don't excatly remember... But i think i did bing read many novel for a week withour stop except for eating and stuffs....and I've done that more than one time .. I started reading From the time i wake up to the time i sleep... And so on.. xD
Jesus. I could understand if it were light novels but the Harry Potter books are each twice as thick and the average western fiction book. Well, I mean, I read and finished a volume nearly each day so doesn’t it count then?
I once did a 26 hour binge read of the Malazan Book of Fallen: The Crippled God. Only wanted to read one chapter, (since it was late at night) and didn't stop. Didn't notice the passage of time at all. When I finished it, the tired feeling kicked in. Crawled downstairs the next morning because food was next on the list. Nowadays, I do controlled binges. Snacks/Drinks around my perch and an alarm set up in case something needs to be done or so I don't screw up my sleep schedule. Usually, my perch is my bed while I engage in burrito mode. The crippled god has 1,200 pages and ~385,000 words.
i once stayed up for 3 days in a row catching up to Reincarnator, despite the fact that it was a weekday and I had school. I just read instead of sleeping for 2 full nights, and every free second I had at at school.
invisible dragon. in that it wasnt that long but each chapter was so intriguing it took me days to get through the whole book and my brain was steamed afterwards
Issth maybe? Or eer...... I don't know..... Yup issth it is! I started from ch 1 and read until the latest release which was ch 1250 at that time i think?
