so I'm reading a book at RRL(forgotten conqueror) and the mc just met an old man trying to "test" the kid, and because of that, the old man lost an arm during the battle. However, although he lost an arm, he created a new arm with magic (clay arm). I think that was pretty cool, but what made it better was when he started customizing it so his clay fingers can turn into a comb so that he can groom his beard. hence the birth of the second wise old man (to me, second to RS)
your definition of a second wise old man is someone who turns misfortune into something fortunate? Instead of someone who trains or guides the MC to realize his purpose or overcome something?
Who's RS? And yeah, I remember that series. It was nice, but the MC just came off as an immature brat that the author wanted to seem mature through OPness. It resonated too much with MGA, ATG, etc. so I dropped them all. Is it still ongoing?
I have no idea how you came to that conclusion.... What I got from this is that wise old men are people who combs their beards.
Sorry, what in the world are you talking about? since you aren't making any sense, I'll just leave this quote: "Drugs are bad m'kay?"
