    Nice words, idealism is good but the industry is actually booming with those title baited titles and longer subtitles. That's why I like the title Sevens, didn't even tried to bait those readers, and the title itself was still a mystery.

    for me the worst titles are those that just sound waaaay too chuuny... some seemingly bad titles are so bad they are funny and become good for being funny in a funny novel, but non funny chuuni titles...
    Ehh? I have always remembered "Mondaiji tachi ga isekai kara kuru sou desu yo?" though...

    True for now, but I honestly think they'll kill the interrest in the end, if we look at such acts throughout history, it has always failed in the end, sure it might take a while, but in the end stories with long convoluted names almost always forgotten, or become footnotes that people only use to drive home a point.

    The little macho girl - it's a oneshot but damn that title i honestly thought it would be about a superstrong loli or something like that but it turns out to be a little match girl kind of thing

    Akuyaku Tensei Dakedo Doushite Kou Natta.

    Translated, the title is bad enough, but when it's left untranslated, it ends up being gobbledygook. This is true of a lot of untranslated titles, but this particular one is even worse than usual because "Akuyaku" is used for a number of other titles. I have to look the damned thing up every time I need to type it up.
