Recommendations novels without too much of the "face" aspect

    i really hate it in novels when the protagonist and especially the enemies of the prot are dumb and often care too much about face.

    some novels is like main character kills guy 2 dao ranks above him and 5 of the same rank guys or lower go straight to their deads of they cant take it hes better or some sh!t

    i dont mind over powered main characters not in the least but i do hate it when enemies just fall to their deads because their face cant allow to not fight the main character.

    i dont really need it to be wuxia or xiaxia or something just a good novel will do

    i do how ever love modern day novels like Beauty and the bodyguard or My Wife is a Beautiful CEO

    stay away from cn novels and all face disappears suddenly... Like magic. Trust me. Everyone says it. It's true.

    well face = honor/pride. Characters without this might as well be insects.

    well i agree but i like long stories and jp and kr novels are in general only 100 chapter long

    Face doesn't disappear it's just less obvious, you ruined my plans/event/reputation, I'm going to kill you happens in a lot of type of things, it's just a bigger deal is made over it in CNs

    well i dont mind that he can kill everyone but if in a competition he kills a really strong guy and after that a group of scrubs right after the competion still attack him because of face is imo just stupid
