Is "Red Envelope Group of the Three..." Same as "Red Packet Server"??

Looking at the first chapters, the QI one appears to be a bastardized and worse knockoff.

 

Lazy QI is lazy, cover is fake of a fake, story is a copy of a copy

ok guys, i bit the bullet and did the public service of sacrificing myself and reading it so i could save you guys the trouble, well, i dont know who copied who, its clearly a blatant copy, but the quality of the writing on this one is clearly inferior, it does seem to focus a bit more on the cultivation aspect though, so maybe it will please someone

you even have the GF who dumps the MC on first chapter because he is poor, saving someone important with a red packet, well, basically a carbon copy really

This novel is terrible, translations not great either it was either MTL or they just didn't bother editing it properly. It is way too fast paced and is exactly a carbon copy of red packet server except way worse because of the bad interactions between characters, lack of character development and mc plot shield that beats Against the Gods by a landslide. They literally end the conflict in the 2nd half of the chapter or the 1st half of the next chapter.

Red Envelope Group came out earlier than Red Packet Server, as far as I’ve heard, so no matter how evil QI is, they didn’t seem to plagiarise the story.

No, that's not accurate. Red Packet Server actually began a month earlier than the Qidian novel. Here is the original page for RPS:
