I need some dungeon building novels. I've read all I could find on NU and a few on RRL, so what I need is a recommendation for somewhere else, where I can get my fix, and preferably something of better quality. I'm not particularly picky, as long as I don't have to read machine translations, though. I've noticed some of the users here have their own stories and novels. If you have something that fits the theme, feel free to recommend it, as well.
Dungeonborn novels on Amazon are pretty good. Past that I can't think of any you wouldn't have already read.
The Dark Dungeon series by D. R. Rosier on Amazon, The Slime Dungeon which you can find on both Amazon and RRL, The Divine Dungeon series by Dakota Krout, The Laboratory: A Futuristic Dungeon Core on Amazon... I recently went on a binge with those myself. Hahaha.
I love the Dungeon genre but it seems that almost every author on rrl starts it gets midway then goes on hiatus. Aside from like 5 good ones like dungeon heart and slime dungeon the rest either have super slow updates, or they decide to rewrite it.
yes and no. There's not many completed novels in rrl but maybe its just cause the dungeon novels crap out at like 20-30 chapters they stand out more. Most of the adventure or fantasy novels at least go on for awhile even if their not the best.
Hahaha. I've already read everything I'd listed. The Laboratory is quite good, although it skips over a lot of the 'dungeon building' parts I enjoy. Lol. Funneh as hell though.
Ancient Dreams on amazon is quite good. Though there's mind-warping and rape, which I personally dislike, it is handled quite nicely and the author's take on dungeons is somewhat novel and the story in and of itself is really interesting.
