I've read the first prologue, it's really cluttered and word, unlike other novels I've read. I have no fucking idea of what is going on? The novels go into such great detail, that I'm genuinely confused. I'll try read it again, but try to simplify it - or maybe I'm just dumb...
The prologues was: 1. A passage from a book to introduce the world. 2. A Miss Exposition and Miss Don't Know Anything conversation to introduce the short history and how people in that world see the main location. The purpose of these two was to grant the reader some basic knowledge of the setting.
