As she stared up at the big doors of the Tavern, Peony sighed.

"I should try, right?"

Windy brushes reassuringly against her shoulder and Peony leans into her embrace.

"Those plants were left behind and I didn't have the chance to check their growth!" She stomps her feet but doesn't move to go through the entrance of the Tavern.

Not that they need me. They are self sufficient plants! I just want to-

"Ah!" The pink haired florist bumps into a crate as she tries to get out of the way. The adventurer coming out looked at her curiously before nudging the door open.

"Couldn't reach the handle?"

Huffing slightly, Peony pouts and refused to look at the adventurer.

"Maybe you can find that motivation indoors? I just had the soup of the day and it gave me motivation to take on my next B-rank quest! No fire will stop me-"

He continues to ramble on and doesn't notice the lack of audience.

Maybe some other day then.

{Well that serves me right for not checking this thread. I was wondering why it was taking forever to reach the end when I realised I was 100 pages behind...

You guys know beer, that's for sure. Tried a stout imported from Germany once. Could have finished all by myself if possible.

Nah. It's still something ways off. I mean sure, China has been encroaching on PH territories, but I doubt they'd attack outright. And even if they did, they'd run virtually unchallenged around Asia. Take away US presence and you got a handful of frigate-class ships going against China's armada.

Yeah, with portable cams, we can blackmail them in return. Muhahahahahaha!

To be honest, it was the street food that caught my attention the most. Made a pig out of myself eating pichana and I was awestruck by the tapioca crepes. Over here, tapioca is usually made into little balls that are added to desserts.

Though my first experience eating pastel isn't so good.

I may or may not have tried that other dish you mentioned. Though I might have been too drunk to remember. XD

As for beans though, it seems to mostly be an Asian thing. Like how the Chinese use mung beans or how Filipinos eat sweetened garbansos.

As for others? Well, in Mexico, they still use it as a staple alongside corn while in Tuscany, they eat it as much as they eat pasta. Some even preferring beans over pasta.

Not really cardio problems but rather cardio workouts. XD I hate running.

Well, I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

Being raised in a Chinese household, I always had difficulty with the letter r. R in Chinese is really faint, almost sounding like a w. And the way we pronounce L is a lot more rounded than the western pronounciation. Being teased for my accent as a kid, I worked tirelessly for years in order not to sound like Jackie Chan or Jet Li when speaking English.

In the end, my L's and R's were improved but I still couldn't roll my r's...

Which earned me a whack with a stick from my maternal grandmother whenever I stayed with her.

Ah, not in Thailand, you ain't. Though if you prefer not to die of infection post-op the South Korea is the place to go.

 

OOC: China wouldn't need ships. All we need to do is jump at the same time to trigger earthquakes. The Chinatowns around the world? The would be the epicenter of the Quakes. And we've set them up right under everyone's noses! Muhahahahahahahaha!

OOC: So, how exactly would Tene get a new AG card, with the old one destroyed and a new (temporary name)? Tene might be able to prove that he did various quests already, but Tene's memory isn't perfect anymore, and unless there is another way to prove that he used to be Tene, I am not certain that it will be possible.

[OOC] Interesting, yet I can't see it working as it should...

OOC: The back mounted system thing doesn't have enough freedom. The guns can only rotate up and down, so they are mostly ineffective in case the targets are at the left or right, in which case the girl will have to tilt in another direction. Also, the wingspan? is too large, so it'll be a nightmare to carry around in close quarter fights.

No, they actually turn left and right. Not as much, so can't argue about the lack of freedom.

Guns like that? In close quarters? Huh...

In any case, I'm curious if the recoil will get her problems. Specially if she were to fire all six at the same time.

 

OOC: If you need more inspiration for the mounted guns, you should take a look at the Strike Freedom Gundam and it's Dragoon System, or Twin-Star Exorcist's Subaru Mitejima and her Endless Rhapsody. If you want no recoil...hm...well, you'll have to build a suppressor system in then.
If you want it to work out better in close combat, you could make it mimic Battle Spirit's Mibrock Baragan and it's metal plate shieldings. But other than that, it looks amazing. *Thumbs Up*

OOC: Well, it is your character. I still think gun blades are pretty cool, though.
