Question if you could trasmigrate to a novel which one would you choose?

Because if I can transmigrate as the same time were the MC exist I may go to the world of Emperor's divination and just get buddy with Li Qiye since the guy is probably more powerful than you with a cheat and the guy pretty generous to his friend. Though it would be quiet a violent new life, not the best.
I think I would go in the world of Magus of Genesis, like the MC as a dragons, and work with the guy to raise different race out of their primal state, it can be a quite laid back life, and I always wanted to be the spectator of fall and rise of different civilization, I think I would go here yep.

Yeah... being carried is all good and all but it depends on the tone of the novel. In darker novels or plain stupid Xianxia, you will most definitely have an off-screen death or your death will fuel the MC to better his cultivation. So yeah, cannon fodder.

 

Strangely enough either novel where I would get to use mecha (civilian one. Don't want to fight) or novel with widespread badass VR

The held hostage part will be the MC's woman. But as a follower the plot demands you to show your loyalty, either through being tortured or sacrifice. Or the MC might need you to hold off the enemy for his escape. If you make it to the top with him, then you are probably screwed if you have plans to overthrow such a monster.
