Potentially in the area that the key Ling'er had could open, but he never opened it nor went there the second time he got there? I remember them leaving and i'm sure that key she had was locking something important.

Spoiler: not the same Yes he did gain that there, but the supposed area that her key was locking with the major secret within wasn't used as far as i know. And i thought that the first time he went there it made me belielve it was related to the evil god, hence him being sent there.
