Even a Cicada Becomes a Dragon if Reborn needs an Anime, by Kyoto Animation of Maid Dragon, I would definitely Watch it due to its compelling poetry and light satirical philosophy, though I would be happy to see it in serialized Light Novel Version.

Sevens already got its attention and it was already a serialized light novel, though it didn't enter in any top ranking and mangaka's doesn't even give it an attention.

The Lighter and Princess Gown, it is something of a typical college romance story, but it is one of the few I can think of where I've felt the characters are both likeable and act like actual people.

Love in Another Life: My Gentle Tyrant - one of my favorites! It's a beautifully written novel that'll get you invested in the characters and make you cry. If you can get past the angst and read till the end, it's a very sweet novel. The translator describes my feelings perfectly when they write "you’re suffering, but you’re enjoying the suffering."

 

+1 for Valhalla Saga.

Great story, nice humor, plenty of action, good translation, stable release schedule.

Another one will be Virtual world: peerless white emperor.

LOTS of humor, good translation and while you need to wait between translation, the bulk release is worth the wait

Jin Yong novels in general. Yeah, I know that they're super popular in China, but that's the point - they're disproportionately underappreciated in NU. These are the the foundational building blocks of Chinese genre writers; everyone reads them, and most of the books I've come across will outright namedrop something from these books. Jin Yong novels have techniques, character archetypes, and even genre conventions that are carried into all these xianxia and xuanhuan novels that seem to be the latest craze.

Totally agree @Nimroth for suggesting The Lighter and the Princess Gown. The current rating (and I guess it's readership) doesn't give justice to the novel. The story is devoid of frequent fluffy romance and laughs. Rather it shows the development of the characters and their feelings in a realistic way. The characters are human. Like I can totally understand and relate what they're going through. The translator also did a superb job (as usual) in translating. I really hope more people would support this novel.
