I have always a good feeling when i'm starting a IET novel, surely because the first novel i read was coiling dragon so it has a special place in my heart and this novel is at the height of my expectation simply awesome
Caught up to the raws. Agree with the OP on most points. Great story but too many fillers, esp. in the beginning, and in the latest raw arc.
It's nice to see no trash from the start. It's like being born afresh from negative thoughts. Bless our protector IET.
with some difference and different kind of world building, avarege IET novel but still IET novel (sorry for bad engrish)
It's not amazing but it's solid. So far at least I'm consistently wanting to read it. The change to someone who's already and adult and strong from the start as well as early romance success is a very refreshing change. We'll see how things expand at the high level. I'm sure MC will figure out a way to become an immortal one way or another.

My biggest problem with this novel is that it starts off extremely boring and the adventures very lackluster. Every single point that the novel claims to be its selling points are weak. Example, MC's doing some brainless investigation about the illness of his brother (or might of been related to his brother). Next you spend ten chapters reading about some lame beauty pageant and how MC uses his leverage of a immortal to bully mortals. How the hell is the female protagonist so skilled in swordplay that people would come to see her sword dance in a brothel? I mean she was the daughter of a official and they owned a escort company but since the escort company go owned by bandits, her swordplay shouldn't be that impressive. Not very convincing at all.
Actually, in about 100% of IET novels, the first love fail! Even if it didn't, the MC won't be together with his girl until the last arc in the novel! Don't try to convice me, you can make me believe that this is the best novel. But hmph, to say that IET know how to write romance
