Welcome to the LCD of Sword Art Online, aka SAO cover for volume 18 =========================== according to SAO's NU listing, vol 14 was translated and released in December 2014 and here we are (finally) at volume 18's translation, 3 years later (4 if we go by year) for those who didn't know what is so special about vol 18, it is the final volume in the Alicization Arc (which spans across 10 friggin' volumes!) Alicization Arc begins with volume 9, which was released in 2012, and was fully translated few months later. i originally wants to wait for team defan's finish translating vol 18, but eventually i failed to resist, and now i'm in withdrawal. orz there was once a translation of side stories, depicting kirito going harem route, titled There is But One Ultimate Way., but i'm not sure if it will be canon. afterall, one of the girls are an a.i more trivia : the latest official english release was volume 12 in december 2017, and volume 14 will be in august 2018. so to read the official version of vol 18, we probably have to wait until end of 2019, if not early 2020. more orz.
What's the difference between SAO and SAO progressive (not sure if it's progressive but you know what I mean)
Wao Alicization spanned 10 vols? So Eugeo got his WN ending? LN completely follow WN with racist on the line once more? Many thanks for you and your team's efforts.
Progressive is the alternative series that tells the story of the game 'sao'. It's kind of like a filler that explains kirito and asuna's journey clearing the floors. For a better understanding, u can read the manga, sao progressive. It might start a bit uninteresting, but gets pretty good later.
Well, it seems that was cocluded in vol 16 Spoiler And yeah. Both of Alice schuberg and Eugo was dead.
Well, I dropped SAO with the early parts of Alicization, because I found it to be stupid and still do. Everything before was okay-ish.
That...seems wrong. Why are you even making that distinction? Alice was always Alice. That's the driving motivation for the first 6-8 volumes.
