The simplest thing I can think of would be sort of equivalent to stopping to smell the roses, that or letting everything go.

I watched a duck swim in a fountain thingy once and there was just this simple beautiful grace to it. I mean ducks aren't pretty but I just lost myself in that moment, thinking this is a beautiful amazing creature. One of the most peaceful moments in my life.

The simplest thing is nothingness.
But nothingness also means that at least there is something to make nothing is nothingnes, since without that something how come we know that nothing is nothing? Assuming...

How do you eat? Do you open your mouth wide? Do you chew everything into mush before swallowing? Do you even bother wiping your mouth after eating? Do you lick your lips while eating? Do you ____________? Etc.....

Fingers

Why should we have fingers? I mean, it's entirely redundant when we already have toes. We should focus more on using our mouths and our tongues instead of using our fingers. We can already slap people with our palms. We can punch people with our fists even when we don't have fingers. Typing? It's not like we cant use our toes. Touching? What's wrong with licking our way up? Grabbing? We can just use our mouths.

Seriously, there's no point in having fingers.

We should have tentacles instead.
