    There are several novels in Qi that are not badly translated. Swallowed Star, RtW and some others are quite good

    Basically site that provide translation with copy paste from original translator. Piracy is not good :blobpoliceangry:

    if you hate qidian, why not put them in list filtering? and why you need to make thread to whining instead deal with it?

    I've already done so, but the problem is that after doing that and blocking the "Yaoi" and "Shounen Ai" tags, only about 3 or so new chapters pop up on the front NU page every hour

    They will do something to monetize their novels. They are like Yen press, a company. And company goal is to make a profit. So be it a pay wall or relying on digital sales of finished books, something will come along. Right now they are still finding their foothold and letting things die down before they move on to monetization.

    Also, the qidian wall happens because they do a timed release for their chapter updates. So at the set times chapters for all their novels get released thus creating the wall. Ww and volare could also achieve a wall if they did the same thing with timing their release.

    A Novel Aggregator in this context is essentially a site that provides access to all the translated novels by copy and pasting (or more complex ways) them from other places.

    It doesn't support the original site or translators but people do it for a variety of reasons.

    Disagreements with the original site or translators.

    Lack of knowledge

    They don't care because one place is easier to read from

    Inability to buy from the original site

    Unwillingness to buy from the original site.
