    As My Pet Is a Holy Maiden has quite long chapters, would you mind if I split releases into parts?
    It helps motivation when you finish things >.>

    Edit: Why do people find parts annoying? Parts over ~1k English words, I mean.

    Mostly don't care, but I do appreciate it when parts is merged and edited properly. It's getting on my nerves when there's "part x" before continue reading.

    Who cares about chapters anyway. Post it line by line as you go, so we can see exactly how many breaks you take.

    well. . .
    before the CN become widespread. . .
    chapter parts are mostly used by the TLr's when dealing with super long chapters. . .not just 2-4k chaps,

    well now they mostly cut it after around 2k words. . .
    i like the ancient Tlr's who sometimes do around 10k or more words for a day. . . or two.
    haaaa good old times. . .
    but well the thing i hate nowadays are those who promise a chapter aat a certain time. . .
    and just release a part of it. . .

    If I finish and its a relatively short chapter, I get kinda annoyed. If it is a short chapter I get angry. But its fairly long chapter, I don't don't mind. Most of the time, translations I find that are shortened are done so with a reasonable length. But sometimes....... Ahhhh!!!

    I find it annoying to read chapters in parts. I’d rather wait an extra day or two to have the full chapter released as a whole~

    I honestly don't mind. If the parts are for super long chapters I'll read it or if the author themselves split it I would read it. Else I'll just wait till the whole chapters out and binge it

    1.5x or 2x isn't enough :v

    if the length is just normal novel length (around 2000 words?) then you're just being a dick, you're probably splitting each chapter into 500-1k words each :v


    It's ok if the average chapter length is 3k+ words.

    @LysUltima they almost never are, so your point is moot for everyone other than yourself.

    personally i dont really care ; of course chapter part that i can read in less than 30 sec are a bit annoying but i dont mind decently sized partition if the translater prefer that . ( the part can be merged together later as full chapter quite easily for people that start reading it after a while anyway)

    At least I'm not that Japanese author who writes a series that has chapters that average 500 words.

    If it's the same day for part 2 or it's really long and part 2 comes within a few days then why not bad. It's a bit sad to stop half way but not that bad since you got half a chapter ahead of time.

    What annoys me is that after both parts are released most translators don't merge them together. If you are binge reading and you bump into chapter parts it becomes annoying since you can miss things sometimes.
