    with batoto shutting down, and missing many features that the much younger NU has, I think it would be nice for NU to incorporate manga as well as novels,

    No, If NU is going 2 expand english novels should be 1st but I'm pretty sure RR will never agree with it.

    Instead they should put a section on where we can post our original stories, Forums doesn’t work all the time lol
    I like that idea but it would be too much work for them

    Not happening, linking to copyrighted content has some severe implications to a site owner.

    Manga translation is not a grey area, it is illegal, period. Making a site that links to manga translations is shooting your own foot.

    Mangaupdates used to have links, they removed them for this exact reason.
    Some people reply without reading comments... *pat pat pat*

    If Royal Road ever actually implements tags like Novel Updates I might actually use it.
    But I don't think NU should expand to manga. Plus most manga are on MAL for listing anyway.
