Question What is a water prison and how does it look like?

That's what I thought about. It's a water dungeon in Chiayi Old Prison, Taiwan

 

Water prison/dungeon. Being chained to the ground and submerged in cold water and every few hours or so the water will rise up. Sorta giving u the hope and thought u will survive this but sadly the chain is on purpose not long enough, making u suffocate when the water reaches to ur head while in despair.

It is basically a flooded prison, which is the worst kind of prison. Being in water 24/7 you skin starts to rot (you know how your skin gets pruney from being in water for a little while well just imagine 24/7 of being in water) and the water ends up carrying diseases from those sick, infected, dying and dead. The novel Hail King features more than one water prison appearing.

For me it is just a regular prison but up to the waist it is filled with water and the only thing in the cell above water is the bed and cink, that way don't think doing things like diggin tunnels or moving to much in there man, or else ya might get sick, also sort of get that picture when i read once about russian torture cell like below waist in water and locked up + being naked waist up and just being whipped and tortured in different ways....... and ofcourse being there for a weak at least

 

Who the fuck thought this was a good idea? As a means of torture, it definitely does the job but what kind of sick and twisted mind must you have to not only create this but also implement it? Being burnt alive seems merciful in comparison.
