Animation is good. The lizardmen animation and I'm guessing other monsters' animation, I'm not particularly fond of tbh but thats a minor issue at least to me. Kinda upset that they're showing a bit more emotion from him but left out the Dragon God slayer titles and such. Woulda been fun to see him react to that a bit more than just a mental "oh shit". I guess they figured they'd never get far enough into the series for that to be relevant? Best girl Zena next episode, hooray for that! ... But after that, eh, I'll probably skip it actually. Thinking about how much will likely be animated in the first 12 episodes, and I just realized that I wasn't "hooked" onto the series until what would probably be around the end of season 2 (ep 24 overall) if this gets a second season at all.
