Yo~ When I first started reading novels online I often used to check out Baka tsuki and read a few Japanese novels. But with translators disappearing over time and with me discovering NU, I found lots of Chinese novels and started reading them more and more. Now I barely read Japanese novels. So recommend me some Japanese novels please. I like fantasy genre with things like magic, game elements/systems, dungeons etc. Also you can recommend Korean novels that are similar. I’ve started reading several of the more known ones and I enjoy them. Hopefully I can get recommendations of hidden gems that I’ve missed~ Here’s my reading list for reference~ http://www.novelupdates.com/readlist/?uname=akki Thanks~
Star Rank Hunter (it’s CN but good). I was actually looking for a novel that’s not on your reading list.. thank god I actually found one lol
The Amber Sword its CN but its very similar to korean and jp novels, its not like other cn novels with cultivation and excessive number of words
Vermilion: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/vermillion/ Tsukumodou Kottouten: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/tsukumodou-kottouten/ These are two Japanese novels I've been reading recently and enjoying
Rakuin no Monshou Yuusha-sama no Oshishou-sama Valhalla-Saga If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord Release that Witch Parallel World Pharmacy
Konjiki no Moji Tsukai, Akuyaku Reijo Ni Koi Wo Shite and My Death Flags Show No Sign of Ending are the ones I recommend
Overlord The Death Mage who doesn't want a fourth death they are 2 of the best novels ever and they don't have all the shity japanse sterotype stupid shit like not killing anyone.
Oh and i love that genre too its the one i read the most so i'll recommend to you the best thing you can do. read korean novels they do it better for those genres, well most of the time. try https://www.novelupdates.com/series/everyone-else-is-a-returnee/ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-tutorial-is-too-hard/ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/infinite-competitive-dungeon-society/ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/a-monster-who-levels-up/ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/master-hunter-k/ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/seoul-stations-necromancer/ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-king-of-the-battlefield/ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/valhalla-saga/ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/main-character-hides-his-strength/
also Overlord is one of the best japanese novels and you don't have it though its not really game element but very close. but ya you should read The Tutorial Is Too Hard you have it on your list but still on chapter 1 an read Valhalla Saga. The Tutorial Is Too Hard sounds lame but its amazing truly one of the best game elemnt novels out there.
Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? it can be a bit hard to read at the start but there's a nice guide in the reviews of which translations to swap to when for the best reading experience.
since you read Everyone Else is a Returnee if you like it check out the authors other books this was before EER https://www.novelupdates.com/series/infinite-competitive-dungeon-society/ this was written after EER https://www.novelupdates.com/series/i-reincarnated-for-nothing/
I like Gomen ne, Onii-sama (JP)and Tales of the Reincarnated Lord (CN). Also recommending The Amber Sword although it's CN. For those fantasy JP that I've read: Akuyaku Reijo Ni Koi Wo Shite Genjitsushugi Yuusha no... I Was a Sword When I... I Work As A Healer In Another... I’m a NEET but When I... Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? Nidome no Yuusha Reincarnated as a Dragon’s Egg... Reincarnated into a Werewolf,... Sairin Yuusha no Fukushuu... Sougen no Okite ~Shii Yatsu ga Moteru,... Many of those were abandoned by me cz update taking too long. But, the chapters should have accumulated by now... For KR, i've only read The King of the Battlefield beside DD.
